Here at SVE we have a simple chant that our students recite that I love to hear when we are all together in the gym...

We are....BEAR STRONG! 

To us Bear Strong means being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible! If you are ever at our building during an all school assembly, don't be alarmed when you hear the kids enthusiastically shouting this mantra!

Welcome!  We want to welcome you to the start of the 21-22 school year.  We are so excited to see everyone and start the year strong….BEAR STRONG!  Although we need to continue with some COVID safety measures, we are happy to say that we will be able to return to school with many restrictions lifted.  Masks will need to be worn in the building by all staff,  students and visitors at this time.  This protocol will allow many of the things we do at school to return to normal. We will be able to return to school face to face, five days a week.  Students will be able to interact with all students and teachers.  We will be able to have entire grade levels play outside together and eat lunch together.  We will again be able to use our art room, music room, STEM lab and media center.  Students will be able to remove masks when outside.  We will be able to have field trips, and Outdoor Education can take place again through our discovery lab and weekly events for grade levels.  We are grateful that we can do so much this year, safely.
